i cannot believe you relegate Common to the depths of obscurity and scrutiny that you subject Drew "Davey Jones face" Gooden and Larry "did you see my music video with nelly" Hughes. meanwhile, Common has continued to put out good music and remains one of the few commercially successful rappers who doesn't rap about b!tches, blunts, and 22" rims.
I agree withthe guy above. Common isn't irrelevant. I loved him in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and that video movie with Jack Black.
